A134 Road Closure - Diversions and Shuttle Services

This weekend - and on other weekends through to May - the A134 will be closed. 

On affected weekends, our buses will be on diversion on Friday evenings (starting 21st February) and all day on Sundays (starting 23rd February). 

On Saturdays (starting 22nd February), we will be operating a shuttle bus service.

4th-6th April
11th-13th April
25th-27th April
2nd-4th May

As our fleet is primarily double deckers we are not able to operate a through diversion route on the 750 and 753. 

Buses from Sudbury will terminate in Sicklesmere, and single decker shuttle buses will operate to and from Bury St Edmunds. Some route 750/753 journeys WILL be operated by single deckers and they will operate through, with no change to a shuttle bus required.

These journeys are: 
08:21 - 753 from Sudbury 
10:10 - 750 from Bury St Edmunds 
11:35 - 750 from Sudbury 
13:05 - 753 from Sudbury 
13:25 - 753 from Bury St Edmunds 
16:12 - 753 from Bury St Edmunds 

All journeys will be through Low Green and Nowton on diversion. On the above weekend dates the Friday evenings and Sundays route 753 will be on diversion with single decker buses.

Update: Due to the removal of the temporary traffic lights during weekdays we expect our term time routes and journeys to operate as normal. Please note route 751 will revert back to its normal morning timetable and will no longer operate 10 minutes early.
