Charity Donation
The team at Hedingham and Chambers recently visited St Helena Hospice in Colchester to present a cheque for £500, raised during their colleague engagement survey. Colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity to receive a £5 donation every time a colleague completed the survey, and St Helena Hospice was chosen as the local beneficiary in recognition of the incredible care and support it provides to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.

St Helena Hospice plays a vital role in the local community, offering compassionate end-of-life care, bereavement support, and a range of essential services to those in need. The funds will help support the hospice’s specialist care services, ensuring patients receive comfort and dignity, while also providing much-needed support for their loved ones.
Hedingham and Chambers are dedicated to supporting our communities by providing connections through the local area. As East Anglia is a rural part of the country, Hedingham and Chambers is an essential tool for ensuring people stay connected.
Greg Cooper, Head of Community, Asset Development and Partnerships at St Helena Hospice, said:
” Thank you so much to Go East Anglia for raising £500 for St Helena Hospice. This can provide pain management and symptom relief for 15 patients, along with emotional support and advice for their family, with a visit from a hospice clinical nurse specialist.St Helena only receives 20% of its funding from the NHS and we are grateful for donations like this to help us continue to support local people in need of our care across north east Essex."
Davina Langley, Head of Marketing and Commercial at Hedingham and Chambers, said:
“We are incredibly proud to support St Helena Hospice with this donation. Their work is truly invaluable, providing comfort, dignity, and care to individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments. As a team, we wanted to give something back to a cause that means so much to our community."
