Lavenham

A little gem in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, Lavenham is lined with timber-framed buildings and the infamous Godric’s Hollow from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  Filmed inside the Lavenham Guildhall, this is where Lord Voldemort left the infamous lighting scar on Harry’s head.
Lavenham has provided a backdrop for many other films and is a fascinating place to visit, being one of Britain’s best preserved mediaeval villages.
