Jaywick Little Pals - A Community Initiative
6 months ago
On Wednesday 3rd July, our team were delighted to visit the children at Jaywick Little Pals nursery in Clacton. We took two groups of little ones on a bus tour long Clacton seafront where they were excited to spot dogs, birds, planes, the big wheel, and the upside-down house from the window!
A ride on our bus was a first for many of these children, so we issued them tickets and gave them stickers to make it an authentic and memorable day for them all!
Little Pals Operations Manager, Rachel Dench, said:
"This was such a fantastic opportunity for our children to experience a bus trip. We are so thankful because we strive to provide our families with experiences that they may not have the opportunity to do otherwise. The trip provided the opportunity for children to express themselves in an environment that was exciting to them and we heard many say words that they have never spoken much before".
We are very pleased that the children had a positive experience and we look forward to meeting more prospective passengers in future!
Our school visits form part of our Generation Go project where we aim to instill confidence and independence in the next generation of bus-users. If your school would like to book a Generation Go workshop, click here to contact us!
