Hedingham & Chambers plays a critical role in connecting communities, supporting economic activities, and providing accessibility to essential services in Suffolk and Essex. As travel patterns evolve and passenger needs shift, it's imperative for transport providers to adapt their services to ensure they continue to meet these demands efficiently and effectively. In response to ongoing feedback from passengers, thorough route analysis, and observed changes in travel behavior, a series of adjustments to bus routes and timetables will be implemented starting on the 1st September 2024.

The following summarizes the key changes across various routes, highlighting route extensions, and schedule modifications.

Route 90

Following feedback from passengers and representatives of the local parishes, the early morning journey from Boxford to Sudbury will now serve Hadleigh.

Buses will leave at 07:40 from Hadleigh to Sudbury and buses on Saturdays will arrive in Sudbury at 0812 in time to connect with the Greater Anglia train to London Liverpool Street which departs at 08:26

Route 751

Route 751 in the mornings will run along Cullum Road, instead of Hardwick Lane. This will also serve the Laundry Lane Footpath bus stop along with route 375, adding more capacity from the Nowton Estate area to Kind Edward VI School, County Upper and St Benedicts.

Route 374

Route 374 timetable has altered to improve punctuality. The morning journey from Bury St Edmunds will no longer serve County Lower School.

Route 373

Route 373 will now leave Sudbury Bus Station to Bury St Edmunds via Glemsford, Rede and Whepstead slightly earlier than before to help improve punctuality and will no longer serve County Lower School.
