16B is on Diversion

Due to a planned road closure, the 16B will be on diversion from the 25th of February.

The following Bus stops on the trip from Old Heath Speedwell Road to Colchester St Helena School will not be served:

1. Barn Hall,
2. Scarletts Rd,
3. Worsnop House,
4. Recreation Ground.

We request passengers who are unable to use their regular bus stops on this trip, to use either Old Heath Post Office Bus Stop or Garrison Church Military Road Bus Stop.

These bus stops on the trip from Colchester St Helena School to Old Heath, Speedwell Road will not be served:

1. Recreation Ground,
2. Worsnop House,
3. Scarletts Road.

We request passengers who are unable to use their regular bus stops on this trip, to use either Garrison Church or Barn Hall Avenue.

Old School road/ Chedburgh road closure

8th Mar 2025 - 5th Apr 2025

due to the closure of Old School Road / Chedburgh Road can all students who need to catch the bus please make your way to rede road stop. the bus will divert up pages hill road and then down sharps lane to Horringer.

A134 Sicklesmere Road Closure

14th Feb 2025 - 5th May 2025

*** Weekend
Due to the A134 closure we will be running two shuttle buses on Saturdays between Sicklesmere Post Office and Bury St Edmunds. They will divert through Nowton and operate the normal route past West Suffolk Hospital. Please click the link above to view more information and the shuttle bus timetable.

The evening buses from 8pm Friday and the Sunday buses will be on diversion through Low Green and Nowton in both directions.

*** Term time week commencing 24 February
Due to the traffic lights in the week from Tuesday 25th we will be running the 751 10 minutes earlier so we can get students to school on time so please be aware on Monday 24th the bus may be late getting students to school or college. It is likely the 0720 753 from Sudbury to Bury St Edmunds will be delayed. Alternative ways of travelling include; route 751, route 373 or the earlier 0640 753 journey from Sudbury.

Please be aware that due to the road works, there are likely to be delays on all routes, we will do our best to keep the buses on time, but we cannot guarantee connections while this work is on-going, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

*** Future disruption
On the following dates the A134 Sicklesmere Road will be closed and when the shuttle bus will be happening:

Saturdays 22nd February, 8th / 22nd / 29th March, 5th / 12th/ 26th April & 3rd May 2025
